Ia adalah Rajo Verma (28), tinggal di sebuah desa terpencil dan miskin di dekat kota Dehradun, negara bagian Uttarakhand, India.
Ditambah lagi ke-5 pria yang dinikahi secara bersamaan tersebut merupakan saudara kandung.
Rajo bersama 5 suaminya adalah bersaudara, mereka tinggal di satu rumah yang sama, dan tidur dalam satu ranjang yang sama.
Jadi ketika dia pertama kali melahirkan bayinya tidak tahu sama sekali siapa ayah dari bayinya.

ketika seorang wanita menikahi pria tertentu, dia juga harus menikahi

"Awalnya saya agak canggung, tapi

dari suami saya," kata Rajo pada The Sun.
Pada 2009, Rajo menikah dengan suami pertamanya, Guddu, dalam pernikahan Hindu menurut adat setempat.
Namun Rajo juga harus menikahi empat saudara Guddu, mereka adalah Baiju (32), Sant Ram (28), Gopal (26) dan Dinesh (19).
Meskipun harus berbagi istri dengan saudaranya, Guddu tidak cemburu, dan mengatakan kisah rumah tangganya.
"Kami semua berhubungan intim dengannya, tetapi saya tidak merasa cemburu karena kami adalah keluarga bahagia," katanya.
Rajo mengatakan sepenuhnya dia menerima 5
suaminya karena sebelum itu, ibunya juga menikahi 3 pria yang semuanya
juga bersaudara.
Mereka bergiliran berhubungan intim satu sama lain setiap malam dalam satu tempat tidur.
Semua orang di rumah itu tidur dalam satu selimut terbentang di lantai.
Saat anaknya lahir, Rajo tidak mengetahui siapa ayah dari bayinya.
