“Tim langsung meluncur mengejar pelaku pada pukul 03.30, setelah menerima laporan bahwa adanya tindak kriminalitas di kawasan Jalan Tipar Cakung. Kami kemudian menemukan pelaku lari ke Jalab Raya Bekasi,” kata Arie saat dikonfirmasi, Minggu (19/4/2020).
Saat berhasil dikejar, keduanya kedapatan mengantungi senjata tajam berupa celurit berukuran besar.
“Mereka tak segan-segan melukai korbannya apabila menolak untuk memberikan harta benda miliknya,” ujarnya.
Kapolres menjelaskan bahwa polisi sempat memperingatkan dua pelaku tersebut, namun mereka malah mencoba untuk melarikan diri.
Alhasil, petugas terpaksa melontarkan timah panas yang bersarang di perut bernama Wahyu.
“Kami terpaksa memberikan tindakan tegas dan terukur kepada pelaku yang dibonceng,” kata Arie.
Sebanyak 6 orang anggota Tim Rajawali kemudian mengejar mereka meski telah diminta untuk berhenti.
Mereka malah kabur dan mencoba untuk melarikan diri.
Aksi kejar-kejaran tersebut juga diwarnai dengan penembakan oleh anggota polisi ke arah perut pelaku.
Hingga pada akhirnya kedua pelaku berhenti setelah seorang diantaranya terkena tembakan di perut kiri bawah.
