Pria bernama asli Dionisius Prasetyo itu sempat dibawa ke rumah sakit tersebut dalam kondisi tak sadar.
Terkait Didi Kempot meninggal dunia tersebut diungkapkan oleh Asisten Manajer Humas RS Kasih Ibu, Divan Fernandez.
"Datang dalam kondisi tak sadar. Kita lakukan upaya pertolongan semaksimal mungkin tapi akhirnya meninggal," ujar dia.
"Betul, meninggal pagi ini di RS Kasih Ibu. Sudah saya cek ke dokter jaga," ujar dia.
Sementara itu, kakak kandung Didi Kempot, Lilik, mengatakan dalam wawancara Kompas TV, adiknya semalam mengeluhkan sakit, terasa panas.
"Semalam sedang mendengarkan lagu, terus bilang, ini kok panas. Nunggu di hotel dulu. Setelah satu jam, pulang, ke dokter dulu," kata Lilik menceritakan saat-saat terakhir bersama adiknya.
Menurut Lilik, Didi Kempot tidak pernah mengeluh sakit sama sekali. Penyanyi legendaris itu juga tidak tercatat memiliki riwayat penyakit berat.
Lilik mengatakan, Didi Kempot meninggal pukul 7.30 WIB di usia 53 tahun.
Hingga saat ini almarhum masih di ruang jenazah.

Irama jantung mendadak konslet maksudnya detak jantung seseorang tiba-tiba sangat cepat, yakni bisa berdetak 150 sampai 200 kali per menit.
Padahal normalnya, jantung kita berdetak 60 sampai 80 kali per menit.
"Terlalu cepat sehingga jantung tidak memompa dengan efektif. Saat denyut jantung berdetak cepat sekali, itu membuat darah yang dikeluarkan tidak banyak," kata Antonia.
"Karena kan jantung harus isi darah, buang, isi, buang. Nah, kalau denyutnya sangat cepat, dia (jantung) tidak sempat mengisi (darah), jadi enggak ada yang dibuang," imbuhnya.
Hal ini seperti denyut terus berkepak, tetapi tidak dapat mengisi dan menyalurkan darah ke seluruh organ tubuh, tak terkecuali otak.
Antonia menjelaskan, ketika otak tidak mendapat darah dalam waktu empat menit, maka seseorang akan langsung tidak sadarkan diri.
"Tidak sadar dan tidak ditolong dengan cepat, namanya sudah mati batang otaknya," ungkap Antonia.

Acara bertajuk "Konser Amal dari Rumah" itu digelar pada Sabtu (11/4/2020) yang disiarkan langsung oleh KompasTV.
Dari konser itu pula, penyanyi campur sari Didi Kempot berhasil mengumpulkan donasi sebesar Rp 7,6 miliar.
