Awalnya korban menyeberang jalan menuju suami yang sudah menunggunya.
Korban saat itu pulang dari kerja. Tak jauh di depan suami menunggu, ada mobil hitam.
Di dalamnya terdapat perempuan yang sedang belajar mengemudi.
Ia di dampingi suaminya. Saat korban berada di depan mobil.
Mendadak mobil tersebut tancap gas dan menabrak ibu hamil tersebut. Diduga pengemudi mobil panik.
Ingin menginjak rem, namun malah menginjak pedal gas. Korban terseret hingga beberapa meter.
Mobil juga sempat menabrak suami korban yang berada di atas motor.
Apes, korban terseret ke tengah mobil lalu terjepit ke tiang listrik.
Mobil terhenti setelah menabrak tiang listrik.
Suami korban syok dan sempat memukul kaca mobil berkali-kali
Menurut informasi, korban dan bayi dalam kandungan meninggal dunia.
Padahal suami istri tersebut sudah mendambakan bayi yang sudah ditunggu selama 7 tahun.
Peristiwa terjadi hari Sabtu 22 Februari
Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Fahri Siregar mengatakan, peristiwa itu terjadi pada Sabtu (22/2/2020).
"Korban yang tewas inisial ER 26 tahun dalam keadaan hamil 5 bulan," kata Fahri saat dikonfirmasi, Kamis (27/2/2020).
Fahri menjelaskan saat kejadian, ER sedang berjalan menghampiri suaminya berinisial WT yang sedang menunggu di atas motor.
Sedangkan, Mobil Toyota Rush yang dikendarai pelaku berada tepat di belakang sang suami.
Nahas,
pengemudi berinisial FMS yang diduga hendak memarkirkan kendaraan
malah keliru menginjak pedal mobil yang bertransmisi matic.
"Maksud pelaku hendak menginjak pedal rem ternyata yang diinjak adalah pedal gas," kata dia.
Fahri mengatakan, mobil itu pun melaju ke arah korban hingga membuat keduanya terseret.
ER bahkan sampai terjepit di tiang listrik.
Saat itu korban masih bernafas dan dilarikan ke rumah sakit terdekat.
Namun, keesokan harinya, ER dinyatakan meninggal dunia.
Fahri mengatakan, kasus ini ditangani Satuan Lalulintas Polres Metro Jakarta Barat.
Adapun insiden kecelakaan ini viral di media sosial, salah satunya diunggah akun instagram @viralterkini99.
Akun tersebut mengunggah rekaman CCTV yang terpasang di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
Ibu dan bayi dalam kandungan dikabarkan meninggal dunia.
