Pemerintah memberikan keringanan bagi sejumlah pelanggan listrik PLN dalam rangka menekan dampak wabah virus corona bagi golongan masyarakat tertentu. Salah satunya dengan memberikan listrik gratis bagi pelanggan 450 VA dan diskon listrik 50 persen bagi pelanggan 900 VA bersubsidi.

Rinciannya, sebanyak 24 juta pelanggan rumah tangga 450 VA yang mendapatkan listrik gratis dan 7 juta pelanggan rumah tangga 900 VA bersubsidi yang mendapatkan diskon pembayaran tarif listrik sebesar 50 persen untuk bulan April, Mei, dan Juni 2020.

Khusus 11 juta pelanggan yang menggunakan kWh meter prabayar, pelanggan akan mendapatkan token listrik berdasarkan penggunaan terbesar selama tiga bulan terakhir. Hingga Sabtu (4/4) pukul 15.00 WIB, PLN sudah berhasil menyediakan listrik gratis atau diskon untuk 8,5 juta pelanggan prabayar atau yang menggunakan token. Sementara, token untuk 2,5 juta pelanggan lainnya akan diperbaharui secara bertahap paling lambat hingga tanggal 11 April 2020.

“Saat ini layanan utama untuk mendapatkan token tersebut kami arahkan melalui website www. pln.co.id. PLN sudah menambah kapasitas situs tersebut hingga empat kali lipat dari kondisi tertinggi sebelumnya,” jelas Executive Vice President Corporate Communication and CSR PLN, I Made Suprateka.

Menurutnya, kode M (mampu) dalam R1 M menandakan kategori listrik tersebut adalah pasca- bayar dan tidak bersubsidi. Sementara kode R1MT berarti listrik pra-bayar. Sehingga apabila setelah struk pembayaran rekening dicek, ternyata berkode R1M dan R1MT berarti tidak mendapat bantuan dari pemerintah. Untuk kode R1 dan R1T merupakan kategori pelanggan listrik yang mendapat bantuan dari pemerintah.

3. Token listrik gratis via website PLN Token listrik gratis untuk pelanggan rumah tangga 450 VA dan 900 VA bersubsidi dapat didapatkan dengan cara:

• Buka Alamat www.pln.co.id kemudian masuk ke menu pelanggan dan langsung menuju ke pilihan stimulus covid-19.
• Masukkan ID Pelanggan/ Nomor Meter. Kemudian Token Gratis akan ditampilkan di layar.
• Pelanggan tinggal memasukkan Token Gratis tersebut ke meteran yang sesuai dengan ID Pelanggan.

4. Token listrik gratis via WA Jika melalui layanan Whatsapp, token listrik bisa didapatkan dengan cara:

• Buka Aplikasi WhatsApp.
• Chat WhatsApp ke 08122-123-123 , ikuti petunjuk, salah salah satunya masukkan ID Pelanggan.
• Token gratis akan muncul
• Pelanggan tinggal memasukkan Token Gratis tersebut ke meteran yang sesuai dengan ID Pelanggan.

Hingga Sabtu (4/4) pagi,ada sedikit kendala dan sedang dalam perbaikan kapasitas server, agar dapat segera diakses kembali servernya. Kemudian pelanggan rumah tangga 900 VA bersubsidi yang menggunakan kwh meter pasca-bayar, rekening yang harus dibayarkan pada setiap bulannya akan dikurangi 50 persen. “Kami menyadari di situasi seperti saat ini, baik listrik gratis ataupun diskon ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh saudara-saudara kita yang kurang mampu. Kami akan pastikan semua pelanggan yang berhak harus mendapatkan haknya,” tutup Made.
